Rage Against the Machine - Bombtrack
December 1st, 2007
As with every band featured here at vintagerockvideos.com, Rage Against the Machine is another example of rock and roll innovators. The song Bombtrack was the first song off their debut self titled album and is the song that essentially set everything off. Including Rage’s place in rock and roll history.
Rage formed in 1991 and featured the likes of vocalist Zack de la Rocha, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk. Rage Against the Machine is best noted for its combination of hip hop, metal, punk and funk in addition to their revolutionary political views and lyrics. After recording four albums together, Rage Against the Machine broke up after Zach De La Rocha left the band essentially citing artistic differences between the members of the band in a public letter. The band remained apart for six years until reuniting this year. The band is currently playing shows in Asia and Australia and at the moment there are no known plans to record a new album.
